KATHY & FRANK FAXON, Redlands, CA

Long-time residents of Redlands, CA, Kathy and Frank Faxon are perfect examples of patriotism in action. As strong supporters of American exceptionalism and the U.S. Constitution, they have consistently and passionately supported conservative campaigns and causes. At his college graduation from the University of San Diego, Frank was presented his diploma by then Vice President Richard Nixon, a moment which initiated his interest in politics.

After completing his military obligation with the Army Security Agency, Frank began his future business career in Los Angeles, while at the same time joining President Nixon's "Committee to Re-Elect the President." In fact, throughout their marriage, the Faxons have participated in many presidential campaigns, including Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, and John McCain.

Additionally, Kathy and Frank have taken great interest in the needs and issues of their local community, supporting several city council and mayoral races, as well as candidates for California State Assembly. Their involvement in grassroots politics runs deep, as Kathy has been a member of the Redlands Republican Women Federated, serving twice as club president.

For their devotion to their country and their involvement in grassroots politics, Stars and Stripes United salutes Kathy and Frank Faxon.
